View Full Version : what is a good DVD ripping program

i have a few anime movies on DVD i wanted to rip but don't know how. i just got a new computer with windows 7. can anyone tell me if it has a riper on it already?
one of the movies is Samurai X reflections. after i get it riped and uploaded to veoh you guys can post it on here.

Handbrake. google it, pretty easy to use.

maybe i found a false one then i found a riper and have the anime riped and uploaded now i am happy with how nice it turned out. the only thing i wish i knew how to fix is it is in dub and also running subs at the same time.

There will be an option to disable subtitles, but you will need to hardcode the signs and captions subtitles most the time though if they have any. best to check the dvd first so you don't end up looking for subtitles that don't exist :P
Also with most flash video sites if you encode your video to around 4/3 aspect ratio you will usually not end up with the black borders on your video.
