Mine was the 90s all the way up to 05

Armitage III (http://myanimelist.net/anime/1079/Armitage_III) is a great old anime. Though, I'm only recommending the four part OVA. I'd pass on the movies.

Mobile suit gundam the original, which ran in 2001-2002 and was broken up because it aired during the 9/11/01 attacks on new york city. It was created in 1979-1980

:I am full: Personally as you know im 3 and i dont enjoy the quailty of old anime's, i mean the story line's are good but the quality is just...:I am going cry:

I love hand drawn animation though from pre digital age. The amount of work it took to animate things was a lot harder back then. I admit it has got a lot better and also a lot faster to pump out anime now for japan seeing as the use a lot of animation programs. But I have a huge respect of old anime.
