I just want to say I am really kind of annoyed that you guys just don't seem to post anywhere else except that stupid counting game. I know I don't post that much but I'm getting tired of seeing the forum so dead all the time.

I'll say this whether you like it or not. I'll give it 30 days...if the forums has not improved I will delete all the sections and just keep the submissions area.

Harsh? yeah maybe but to get people to post more you have to post new topics more and posting in the counting game is not a topic it's just lame.

I just don't see the point of hosting a dead forums.

Well its kinda hard when theres not much to talk about and not that many to talk to about that next to nothing that there is to talk about (and it don't help when you practically know everybodies thoughts on everything that you might have to discuss already so even if there was something to post about it wouldn't get any attention) that and this forum basically just started so its still gonna be awhile before seeing a good deal of people around here (Rome wasn't built in a day... don't know how long it took but I'm sure it took a few years at the least :P). And CG is basically our semi-private chat room where we just shoot the breeze and spout things that ain't even post worthy for small lols to put it short its the place to go spamming.

It's still not good enough I have seen you guys chat about alsorts of useless crap in CG and you should be talking about that useless crap outside it. It's antisocial and really does go against a "community" the thing we are supposed to be building. This forum has been up for a while now long enough to at aleast get more than a few posts a day, I'm not being impatient here I'm just being a realist.

I have to agree with Clogs here. There are times when we just don't know what to talk about in a post. You just gotta give it more time. It's not like we don't try to get people from chat on here, because we do.

I don't agree at all, who the hell wants to post in a forum where only one thread ever gets any hits. You say give it time but if that is all people are seeing when register then it's pretty obvious they are not going to post anything. It's uninviting and looks dead. More importantly it hasn't improved in a 3month period hell it's still like the old forums we had 6months ago.

ya, the CG is where our spam and random stuff goes for us and our little private chat, but why make a lame thread on that pointless stuff? and no one's really making threads for me to post in =/

i've been working on threads as best i could, i made like 60+ >.> and post the most, i just can't think of anything at the moment >_< but i'll keep trying, i tend to make a couple of threads once in awhile =/

Ok well I've been thinking over the weekend on how we could liven things up here a little bit. And what better thing for us to talk about than anime shows. I know we are not supposed to post spoilers but I think we should have two new areas dedicated to spoliers. Not so that people can come in and try to impress us that they know stuff that we dont know, but so that we can freely discuss the shows and what we like and don't like etc... The reason I say we would need two areas is one for subbed anime and one for dubbed anime. We all know that subbed anime is out faster than dubbed and sometimes a little different. For example I have watched all dubbed Bleach episodes and would love to talk to you all about it but I wouldn't want someone to come in who watches it subbed and start talking about what's going on 30 episodes from now. So I propose 2 spoiler areas, one dubbed one subbed, that can have sub-threads for each show that we want to discuss. Of course you'd have to put stickys on them explaining the purpose is to discuss the show so that people will only enter the topics that they want to discuss and will stay away from the ones that they have not watched yet. I'm sure with me being a newb there are lots of things that I'm not thinking about but just wanted to throw this out there and see what you all think about it. :drum:
